In common with many churches all over the country, St Mary’s will mark the passing and funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Today Friday 16th, the church will be open from 5.30-6.30 pm for private prayer/lighting a candle.
Said prayers at 6 pm.
This short prayer service will also be made available online at the same time and can be seen on the on-line services page.

On Saturday 17th, the day of the funeral, St Mary’s tenor bell will toll for 20 minutes until 14.59 hrs when the one-minute silence begins that precedes the time of the funeral itself.
