St Mary’s church will be open on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 September from 1-4pm as part of the Heritage celebrations taking place in the week that includes this weekend.

Celebrating our local history and culture, this is an opportunity to find out about hidden places and little known facts about well-known buildings.

There will be people on hand to tell visitors the secrets of St Mary’s church (as recently revealed to The Way youth club).
And of course, being a church, no celebrations are allowed to pass without cake!
