St Mary’s Singers will present a programme of reflective music for Good Friday at St Mary’s church on Friday 15th April at 7.30pm.

The choral works include pieces by several French composers including two movements from the Messe Brève by Théodore Dubois and a delightful Ave Verum Corpus by Alexandre
Guilmant.
Other pieces are by Camille Saint Saens and Jacob Handl.
Soloists from within the group will also contribute solo songs

The choir’s regular organist John Rippin, organist emeritus of Chingford Parish Church, will accompany the singers and also contribute two organ pieces, by Dutch composer Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and Hubert Parry.

Admission is free, donations are welcome.
