News received this morning from Chelmsford Diocese reads as follows:

Downing Street has this morning announced that the Right Reverend Dr Guli Francis-Dehqani will be the next Bishop of Chelmsford.

Bishop Guli is currently Bishop of Loughborough in the Diocese of Leicester, a post she has held since late 2017.

At 3.45pm Bishop Guli will be taking part in an online act of worship hosted by Chelmsford Cathedral. You can watch this on the Chelmsford Cathedral Facebook page.
