Colchester Archaeological Trust (CAT) are undertaking an archaeological survey for the church as part of the requirements for the ongoing Transformation Project.

This work, to the south of the church, was originally planned to be undertaken during March but had to be postponed due to the onset of the coronavirus.
With the recent government announcement and the introduction of safe working practices, this work is now able to proceed with strict safety controls.

It is likely to take two days to complete the archaeological investigation.
