After a tendering process the PCC felt St Mary’s would be in safe hands with Bakers of Danbury and the contract for the works was awarded to them.
Bakers is an old family firm with a very good reputation for restoration and repair work on churches and our St Mary’s is not the biggest job they have tackled in their time!
Once the works start, Bakers’ team will be on site from 7 am and begin work at 8 am. After 5 pm anyone seen on site can be assumed not to be part of their work force.
