Thursday 1 December is the date of St Mary’s Christmas Market, from 6.00-8.00pm.
Lots of gifts from lots of stalls inside and outside St Mary’s church,
Plus late-night opening of local shops, some with mulled wine and mince pies on offer.

It’s also the time when the Mayor will switch on the Christmas lights in Lower Wivenhoe.
AND it’s when Peter and Sandra will again light up their garden at 8 Spring Lane with 1000s of twinkling light to create a fairy tale display.

After 1 December the Spring Lane lights will be on after dark so come along any evening.
A collection box is there to leave donations to St Mary’s church.
There is a target figure of £500 but past years’ generosity has resulted in figures well in excess of this.
It would be marvellous if that could happen again this year!
