Meetings: a great alternative to work

The words above were on the front of a card that I received from a joking colleague on the occasion of two new appointments.
Bishop Roger of Colchester has asked me if I could take up the roles of Assistant Area Dean and Area Vocations Adviser.  I have accepted.
I am humbled by the confidence that the Bishop and my colleagues have in me.  I will to the best of my abilities take up these responsibilities.  It may mean more meetings away from home.  Therefore always leave your message on my voice mail when I am not in.  Alternatively send me an email – I often check my mailbox.
Thank you for your help and understanding

One Response to Meetings: a great alternative to work

Erwin, Had just read about this in Tidings and would like to offer my congratulations on the appointments – a sign that you are appreciated by others apart from your immediate flock! Well done. Bryn Evans.
